About us

Auricular Medicine was founded on auricular diagnosis and treatment originated in ancient China 3000 years ago. Auricular treatment was recorded in the ancient Chinese medical books such as “Neijing,” “Huang Di´s Internal Classic,” “Moxibustion Classic with Eleven Foot-Hand Channels,” and “Moxibustion Classic with Eleven Yin-Yang Channels.”
The ear is believed to have a close relationship with the twelve channels and collaterals, and is the place where the meridians pass through, end and intersect with each ear.
Ancient Chinese physicians stimulated the ear to prevent and treat not only diseases of the ear, but also diseases in other parts of the entire body.
Auricular Medicine
In the 1950s, auricular treatment reached a higher level with the theory of “reversed embryo,” as proposed by a Frenchman, P. Nogier. From the 1950s to the 1980s, more than 200 new auricular points were discovered, and the mechanisms created by these discoveries were carefully studied. Approximately 12 auricular treatment methods were proposed, including but not limited to Auricular Seed Therapy, Auricular Electrical Therapy, and Auricular Paste Therapy.
Auricular Diagnosis came into being during the late 1980s and early 1990s. During this period, researchers and practitioners of auricular treatment eventually realized that Auricular Practices were not only valuable in treatment, but also led to valuable tools for diagnosis.
Researchers discovered that auricular diagnosis can be used to discover over 200 different diseases, including internal, gynecological, five sense organs, and all other physical and mental aberrations.
Dr. Lichun Huang is the leading researcher in auricular diagnosis. She has suggested many successful detection techniques and routines using auricular diagnosis.
With new depth of knowledge for applying the auricle to diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases, auricular diagnosis and treatment has been widely researched.
It now has become a medical system with its own special methods and theories of diagnosis and treatment. Auricular Medicine is now an important component of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion, and important part of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
Auricular Medicine is not only playing an increasingly important role in Chinese Medicine, but is also creating a larger effect and contribution to the world of healing.
